Covering up ceiling water stains:

There are many solutions that can be used to cover up water stains. The first solution is mixing three cups of water and one cup of bleach. Use a sponge to apply this solution on to the affected part of the ceiling. However, wear gloves while applying this solution for safety. Furthermore, use a stable ladder when applying this solution to avoid injuries.

Fixing a leaking shower head:

The cause of your shower head leaking could be because of minerals building up. To fix this, remove the shower head. Make a solution consisting of water and vinegar. Soak the shower head for about thirty minutes and clean the  shower head with warm water and a hard brush. However, if this does not work, you may need to purchase a new gasket.

Clearing clogged drains:

Thirdly, clearing your clogged drain is simple. Mix up a solution made up of baking soda, vinegar and water. Pour this solution down the drain along with boiling water. Cover for a few minutes and pour more boiling water. This solution removes all the waste clogging your drainage system.

Fixing squeaky cabinet doors:

Rust causes the hinges to squeak. To repair this; apply lubricating oil on to the hinges of the cabinets. However, if you do not have lubricating oil, you can use butter, olive oil or petroleum jelly. To avoid this in future, make sure to purchase hinges that are made of good quality and long lasting.

Painting your bedroom:

Finally, you do not always need to hire someone to paint your bedroom. If the paint on your wall is peeling off, purchase a long wall brush, some paint and get to work. Move the furniture out of the room and cover the floor with old newspapers, do this to avoid paint stains on your floors.
